I want THAT one!

One of the funny people I follow on Twitter, started twittering about Little Britain this morning..This is one of my all-time favorite shows, and that might make me a very lonely person, because most of the people I've recommended this show to,just downright didn't like it.Some didn't get the humor, and some thought it was really vulgar.Funnily enough, besides me,the other two people who really like this show,is my mom,and my 8 year old niece, who has watched this show since she was 5.I have to mention though, she can't speak or understand English,so something their doing,is funny as hell, even to non-English people.Their that good.

Please check them out,and let me know what you guys think.I'd love to hear what you all think, and to see whether my taste in things really is that bad.

The City, brought to you by IBBB

I was a huge 'The Hills' fan,and haven't really made an effort (ie.I'm too lazy) to get into watching the spin-off 'The City'.However, while I was very into 'The Hills',I discovered a gossip blog where the blogger did the most amazing and hysterically funny recaps of each episode.

Lucky for me IBBB kept the train rolling, and is doing weekly recaps of 'The City',so I don't even have to watch the show,I just go read his recaps.Trust me,his recaps are the funniest and most entertaining part of the show,IMO.

Carrie Bradshaw's Apartment

I was always a BIG fan of "Sex and the City",and even though I was still in school during the biggest part of the 6 season run of the show,I made sure to never miss an episode.

That's why I was super excited to see the movie, and when I did,I wasn't disappointed. It was just like a natural continuation of the show, and that is exactly what I had wanted the movie to be.It also made me miss the show even more!A box set of all 6 seasons of the show would be my dream gift (*nudge*nudge*wink*wink).

One thing I always really, really loved and was very jealous of,was Carrie's apartment. It just looked like the quintessential New York apartment, and I loved how cosy, comfortable and yet stylish it looked.Since I can remember, that is what I wanted my apartment to look like.

The turqoise, cream, black and brown colors along with the bunches of books and picture frames on the walls, are right up my alley, and there isn't a thing in this 'apartment' that I would change.Except maybe a little more spicing up in the kitchen and bathroom.Although all SATC fans know that the kitchen was rarely used by Carrie, and the stove was basically only more place to hoard her shoe collection. So it's understandable that it is quite bland.

Either way,I love this apartment,or rather the look of it,and when I grow up,and finally decide to start making my place look a little better, this is definitely the look I'm going to go for.

My Secret 'Top Gear' Fetish

I blame my brother for this.He absolutely loves this British show, and he always, when he comes to visit, makes me sit with him to watch back-to-back episodes of it.Even my mom has gotten into 'Top Gear' in a major way. There's a new show (and sometimes repeats) on everyday,so she is never short of her fix.Now that I don't have satellite tv anymore,I haven't seen it in a while, and I have to be honest.I am having serious withdrawalls.

I will giving you the following reasons to make it clear to you why me being addicted to 'Top Gear' is so completely ridiculous:

1.I don't drive and don't have a licence.
2.Even though I work at a car dealership,I don't even know all the vehicles we sell.
3.I don't know anything about the function of a car,or what any of the little knobby things on the dashboard does. The only dashboard I use is the one on Blogger.com.
4.Finally,I hardly know any brand of cars.I know Ford,Mazda,Toyota,BMW,Mercedes Benz, all the big ones, and only by their little logos. And I don't know which ones are good or bad, because to me,they are basically all the same.

So yeah,my love for this show is a bit strange, but I think what makes it so utterly entertaining to watch,is the three presenters.Jeremy Clarkson,James May and Richard Hammond. They are like car obsessed little boys, with great comedic chops to boot.

Do yourself a favor, and check out this show,it really isn't just for car fanatics. It's also a hell of a good laugh!

Season 4 Finale of The Hills

so,this was the last episode of season 4.it's quite a fitting end to the worst season of the show thus far.this whole season was just plain boring, and with no real interesting storylines, just recaps of old fights and arguments.

heidi just kept looking more and more like a plastic blow up doll and lauren just kept acting more and more superior and like an la princess as the series progressed.

i sure hope that the next season (and there better be a next season) will be much improved.

ps.i still really like audrina!

i like the hills

this blog won't be just all about my sometimes-depressing outlook on life,i want to obviously talk about things that i enjoy, and like as well.

right now,i really like 'the hills'.i got into the show from the very beginning, and since i don't watch other soapies, this is my guilty tv pleasure.i watch it every week, just to see how stupid some of the characters can be,and to ogle at how great the girls' make up and hair is looking.

my favorite character,is Audrina.she is just so cute and is one of the only ones that doesn't irritate me to the point where i want to pull my eyelashes over my eyes and superglue them shut.i love Whitney as well, and my favorite baddie is definitely Lo.she is such a lovely super bitch, and that makes for fun viewing.

even though heidi and spencer suck, the one character that is just beyond irritating,is stephanie.she really has no purpose, and cannot even say the few lines that she gets paid to say,in a convincing way.nothing she says,or any of her facial expressions, make any sense at all.

for any of you who also love 'the hills',do yourself a favor, and go over to this site:

or

this guy is funny as hell, and does the absolute best commentary on the show.i look forward to seeing his comments, almost as much as i look forward to seeing the show.

next week is the finale, and then i guess i will have to watch 'the city' to get my 'reality' fix, although it won't be the same without 'Oddrina'.LOL
