I am such a sourpuss. But the truth is,I hate weddings.I always have.It just has never been fun for me to go to a wedding,at all.

What I am excited for,is seeing my friends and family. My sister and I have the same friends,so it's like their coming to see me too, which is really nice.

The thing that is making me unhappy (the fight with my sister),is still weighing heavy on my mind, even though we 'made up'.The hurt will probably linger for a long time, even though I would rather just say 'FUCK IT'.Unfortunately,as you all know, that is easier said than done.

But don't worry,I will try and get some nice pictures from the wedding.I am going to do my best to be in a good, happy mood for it,and just be grateful for the time I get to spend with my loved ones.

(I wanted to know from you guys - do you drink alcohol,or don't you?If you do,how much do you drink, and do you ever get drunk? The reason why I'm asking,is that I don't really drink at all,but at parties like this,I sometimes feel a bit pressured into 'partying' a bit more than I'd like. How do you guys deal with that?)

I do drink but when I'm at an event like this I TRY to stay classy about it. If you dance a lot ... you won't be near the bar. Sometimes if I start to feel a little tipsy but don't want to be. I'll just carry around an empty beer bottle while im in conversation with someone. That way your hands are occupied but you have nothing to drink.

I feel like I'm the worst person to comment after my birthday post!

I usually get one drink and make it last as long as possible. And if I'm pressured I usually leave. If you can't leave I would go with the empty beer bottle or fill it with water or juice.

HUGS.

I find it fun to drink a little. I've never been drunk, I just feel it's nice to drink a little on a special day and by that I mean like 1-2 glass..

take the sweeter stuff if you don't like the alcohol... I guess

Oh and I love the TB6 site you linked to

these are all good suggestions if you don't drink and don't like too. i'm not a good one to ask because although i don't drink very often at all, when i do (like at our christmas parties or events at our house) i tend to not realize when i've had too much.
