Favorite Things Award

The hot mama Ashley from Dog Tags & Pearls,made my Tuesday morning a whole bunch better by giving me this award.


The rules of this award are that you have to show 7 things that you love.So here goes.

1. JC
We are the couple that I NEVER thought would happen,and now that we are together,I can never imagine a life without him.He irritates me somedays to the point where I actually want to strangle him in his sleep,but most days he is exactly what I need to be completely and utterly happy.Go figure.

2. My niece and nephews
These little munchkins are like my practice run for motherhood,even though I know every child is different,I kind of feel like if I can survive these 4,then I might just do ok one day.They are the most adorable creatures,each already with a very distinctive personality (and all very much endowed with the family 'stubborn' gene).No matter how naughty or nice they get,I love them bunches!

3. Cats

Anyone who has read my blog knows I LOVE cats.These beauties are all in my life,in some way or another,and I love them so much,because each of them brings something special into my life (especially my baby ~ in the top picture).

4. Pizza

When you ask someone what their favorite food is,they will most likely say pizza,and I wouldn't disagree.Pizza is the ultimate comfort food and can be prepared in so many different ways,that it actually blows my mind.The world would suck without pizza in it

5. Coca Cola ~ The Original

I've said it before,but I never used to drink Coke,until my enabler of a boyfriend moved in with me,and taught me the pleasures of this brown,fizzy elixir.I'm not a full-on addict yet,but I'm getting there

6. Staying in bed,reading

When I was in school,and there was a holiday or something,I'd do this all the time ~ you know,just lie in bed all day long,reading whatever book I was obsessing about at that time.I haven't done this in a long time (cos I have actually gotten some grown up responsibilities.Yuck),but am looking forward to winter time,when I am most definitely going to indulge in this love of mine again

7. Movies

When I love a movie,I can watch it hundreds of times.Literally.When I was a kid,I spent every weekend with my aunt.She had 'Grease','Pretty Woman','Gleaming the Cube' and 'Teen Wolf 2' on a video for me,and I watched these same movies every weekend.To the point where I,at 10 years of age,could recite basically all the lines of 'Pretty Woman'.Disturbing,but true.To this day,I love nothing more than to lie in front of the TV (preferably with my man by my side),and watch a bunch of good movies.
