Thursday Thoughts

I know you can't really see,but it's all cloudy and rainy this morning!YAY!

~ We had a braai (bbq) last night at our apartment.We weren't deterred by a few raindrops and even though I wasn't really in the mood for it at the start,it ended up being a really good time,and I again,ate way too much.

~ When I went to kiss JC goodbye this morning,I saw a dead little frog by his foot on the bed.Maya obviously didn't let the rain deter her either last night.It was very sad,because I love frogs.I would have one as a pet if I could.JC was still asleep,so I don't know if I should tell him about the dead frog that slept with him.

~ Yes,that is my one boss' car in the picture above.A Mazda MX-5.And his brother drives a Ford Focus ST.Sigh,I also work here and will sadly never be able to afford either of those cars.Not even 3rd-hand.

~ My holiday bag has been waiting,already packed,since Monday night.I only have to add a few loose items (my camera,make up,reading material,etc.) and I'm done and dusted.I can't wait to see my sister and nephew!

~ I am planning to watch movies the whole night tonight,since even though I have to be up quite early tomorrow,it isn't for work,so I'll be fine.I can't seem to sleep past 7:30am these days anyway.So tonight JC and I are going to cuddle on the couch and watch a whole bunch of movies.The perfect evening,in my mind.

~ Even though I am SO looking forward to my mini-holiday,and can't wait to see my best friend and just relax a bit,I am really dreading leaving JC and Maya for a week.This is the longest we will have been apart since we moved in together,and I have gotten so used to sleeping next to him,that I am going to seriously not be able to sleep without him next to me,and with Maya between my feet.Sadness.

~ I probably won't be blogging every day on my holiday,but I will be keeping you updated as I go along.Afterwards,there will be a big old catch-up with lots of pictures.Bet you're looking forward to that ;)
