Ladyboy Lizzards = Awesome!

This is probably the most awesome animal story I've heard in a while.Especially since I've been spending a lot of time reading up on reptiles and snakes,trying to figure out which ones are truly venomous and which ones are just plain scary.It's really interesting,and luckily I'm not scared of these types of animals {I actually love them ~ they eat my natural enemy ~ rats and mice}.

{Here's the story}

Young male lizards in South Africa imitate females to fool aggressive older males into leaving them alone, in an example of transvestism in the natural world, according to South African and Australian reaseachers. They found that young male Augrabies flat lizards delayed displaying the extravagent coloration of sexually-mature males until they were able to defend themselves adequately.

I'm telling you,animals are supersmart,and are one day going to take over the world.Mark my words.

Seriously?!Does this seem like a good idea?

I have been wearing glasses since I was 12,and I don't know if this has happened to anyone else,but because of wearing glasses for so long,I've permanently got these dark rings under my eyes.They make me look like a drug addict of some sort,or like I've just been awake for 72 hours straight.Not pretty.In my quest to cover up these dark rings,I've gone through lots of powder,cover stick and base,but to no avail.They are never completely gone.Annalyne McCord here,has taken that quest to a whole other level.And that level is called C.R.A.Z.Y.


This is a girl who is normally totally gorgeous.So why on God's green earth would she go and do this to herself?Does she want to make herself uglier?Why the hell would she want to do that?Some of the sites I've seen this picture on seem to think this is a bad fake tan.I just think it's her make up that was screwed up beyond belief.Her make up artist was probably off for the night,Annalynne got a bit tipsy preparing for the evenings' festivities and put on her own make up.

Big mistake,BIG mistake.HUGE.

The lovable Lulubelle

I just had to share this pic of my kitty Lulubelle (who now lives with her Grandma J) sleeping in her very *comfortable* position.I guess she was busy down there,and just decided to take a nap.


And as a side note,here is Mattewis,a loner cat that has adopted the car dealership where I work,as home.My boss buys her the most expensive cat food,and dotes on her all the time.She basically lives in his office (he even has a little cat bed in there for her).This was one night after work,I was walking past my work place,and I saw Mattewis guarding the offices.I swear she's half dog somehow.

The hilariousness that is Dlisted

As witnessed in my previous post,I am not at all in a great mood,for explainable and some unexplainable reasons.But I just went to read a bit of Dlisted-goodness,and as always,Michael made me laugh so hard,that tears actually came down my face and snot out of my nose.His humour is sometimes a little crude,rude and just plain dirty,and that's why I love his site!

If any of you haven't yet visited Dlisted,do yourself a favor,DO IT!

After talking a bit with my mom over lunch,as well as my best friends' little sister visiting me at work,and having a lovely convo with her,I do feel a little better.But not much.And you know the one thing that usually lifts my spirits right up?

My Secret 'Top Gear' Fetish

I blame my brother for this.He absolutely loves this British show,and he always,when he comes to visit,makes me sit with him to watch back-to-back episodes of it.Even my mom has gotten into 'Top Gear' in a major way.There's a new show (and sometimes repeats) on everyday,so she is never short of her fix.Now that I don't have satellite tv anymore,I haven't seen it in a while,and I have to be honest.I am having serious withdrawalls.

I will giving you the following reasons to make it clear to you why me being addicted to 'Top Gear' is so completely ridiculous:

1.I don't drive and don't have a licence.
2.Even though I work at a car dealership,I don't even know all the vehicles we sell.
3.I don't know anything about the function of a car,or what any of the little knobby things on the dashboard does.The only dashboard I use is the one on Blogger.com.
4.Finally,I hardly know any brand of cars.I know Ford,Mazda,Toyota,BMW,Mercedes Benz,all the big ones,and only by their little logos.And I don't know which ones are good or bad,because to me,they are basically all the same.

So yeah,my love for this show is a bit strange,but I think what makes it so utterly entertaining to watch,is the three presenters.Jeremy Clarkson,James May and Richard Hammond.They are like car obsessed little boys,with great comedic chops to boot.

Do yourself a favor,and check out this show,it really isn't just for car fanatics.It's also a hell of a good laugh!

If I were a cat,and everyone else a dog

Stupid people

Hahahahaha.

The building I work in has a showroom in front where the new vehicles for sale are displayed,with floor to ceiling windows facing the main street of our town.

I specifically say floor to ceiling windows,because they are clearly windows,and even though they are cleaned thoroughly twice a week,they are not completely invisible,and there are alluminium panels spaced about 1 metre from each other all over the glass 'wall'.

So it amazes me how so many people can come in through the front door,do their thing inside,and then take a different route (to another part of the windows in front),and proceed to walk face first into one of these windows.

Just now,a man did this exact thing.The imprint of his face is clearly imprinted on the window now,so I'm assuming it must have hurt like a mofo.But to me he should be more afraid of his own stupidity than any damage he might have caused to his face.

Cos a broken nose you can fix,but stupid is forever.

Ooh la la,it's Thursday,which means it's almost Friday!

As you can see,Thursday fever is getting to me,because we're that much closer to FRIDAY,my favorite day of the week!

And since I'm at this very moment in quite a good mood,and because when I'm in a good mood I always feel like laughing at something funny or seeing something cool,I've decided to show you somethings I thought were funny/cool.

Now,I know I don't always have the best sense of humor and by no means a very high IQ,but I sure hope you enjoy at least some of these.Because in my opinion,there is nothing better in this world than a good laugh (well...except really good sex,milk chocolate,pizza,catching up with your friends,sleeping late...)Ok,so there are lots of great things in life,but a good laugh is definitely in the top 10.
